Bohrer PLLC Bolsters White Collar Defense and Government Investigations Practice with Addition of Former Federal Prosecutor Sam Amir Toossi
January 06, 2020New York (January 6, 2019) – Bohrer PLLC announced today that Sam Amir Toossi has joined the Firm as a Partner and Head of the Firm’s White Collar Defense and Government Investigations Practice. Mr. Toossi is an experienced litigator who draws upon his combined tenure as in-house counsel, a federal and state prosecutor and a lawyer at a premier global law firm to provide multi-dimensional counsel to clients.

Mr. Toossi joins Bohrer PLLC from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a “Big Four” accounting firm, where he was a Director in the Office of the General Counsel’s Litigation Group. In that role, he oversaw all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution as well as matters initiated by regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
From 2009 to 2015, Mr. Toossi served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, supervising and participating in a wide variety of investigations and prosecutions, including significant cases of cybercrime, money laundering, fraud and racketeering. This included the coordination of international investigations with foreign law enforcement agencies in Asia, Europe and South America. During his tenure, he successfully led numerous trial teams and briefed and argued cases before the Second Circuit.
Prior to his government service, Mr. Toossi was a litigation associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP where he represented individuals, corporations and financial institutions in a variety of white collar crime, government investigations and complex litigation matters.
