With twelve years of experience in the asset management industry, Ted Clark brings a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of the hedge fund, private equity and venture capital businesses. Ted specializes in operational best practices, restructurings, wind-downs and valuation.
Having served in leadership positions at both top tier, multi-manager funds and throughout the life cycle of a startup fund, Ted has hands-on experience running the gamut of operational and fund management responsibilities. Ted has built industry leading systems from scratch, spearheaded multiple fund restructurings, and oversaw the complete wind down and dissolution of a $2.7B fund. Ted brings this deep experience to bear in advising clients, along with an innovative and creative approach to solving complex challenges.
Additionally, Ted specializes in the valuation of illiquid and hard-to-value securities across multiple asset classes and strategies, as well as advising clients in building out industry-leading, “best of breed” valuation policies and procedures. He has deep experience valuing complex and non-standard securities through crisis situations, liquidity freezes and restructurings, always in line with the forefront of evolving best practices.
